Zhen Squads and grinding
SOLO GRINDING
To start off, please dont grind till you are around lvl 34, cause that is when ur quests starts to slow down. Always complete ur quest FIRST (When you are 35 and below), grind in Air/Water. When you are able to grind well later on, I always do quest when im a few levels higher than it so its easy (E.g Do a quest given to u at lvl 40 when you are lvl 44-46).
When u get to 59++ and have ur Dragon's Breath, this is when you would want to start your zhen grinding. Solo grinding cannot compare to the amount of exp you get when you zhen. Though at the start it is costly due to the need for having MP charms, as u get higher in your lvl, you will kill faster and get more money for the same amount of MP used.
Stated below are the mobs i REMEMBER grinding on and never regretted. Obviously depends on your build and Eqs.

Some Nice Grind Spots
Abyssal Mystery (lvl34) (Water) <557,528>
Vipion Leaper (lvl35) (Wood) <254,464>
Wimple/Bloody Goldwing (lvl36/37) (Wood) <626,727>
Big Mouth pirahna (lvl39) (Water)
Loft Pterosaur (lvl40) (Metal) <612,826><627,869> <--- Good exp, easy kill
Vampiric Thresher Lord (Lvl40) (Water) <674,835>
Native Vipion (Lvl41) (Wood) <379,781>
Ramshackle Roc (lvl48) (Metal) <154,557>
--Ramshacks hit u more, u hit them more too using fire, have good drops and exp (Info giver : Ursa)--
Vipion Sentinel (lvl50) (Wood) ( Above Skull mountain )
Blood Thirsty Shark (lvl52) (Water) <598,976> <-- Love these as they are easy to kill
Terrestrial Foxwing (lvl55) (Fire) <663,995> <-- Love these too
Bloodthirsty Shark King (lvl55) (Water) <701,848>
UltraFin Protector (lvl58) (Water) <712,731><721,773>
Foxxwing Supreme (lvl60) (Fire) <435,377><500,347> <-- LOVE THESE THE MOST! Spent so much time on it with ESO.
Pyrofiend Immolant (lvl 67) (Water) <546,473> <-- Ground mob!
Wretched Hydrolace (lvl 67) (Water) <546,465> <-- Ground mob! Beside Pyrofiend Immolant
Minion of Alucard (lvl 68) (Water) <566,475> <-- Recommend this more than Wretched
Hydrolace. (Hurts more, but more exp!!! Much more in 1 hour grind)
I only did wood at 30s - early 40s, if i remember right. I didnt really like them as we dont have elemental advantage over them (Metal, clerics love em). Beyond lvl 44 just stick to water/fire.
(NOTE: THESE MOBS STATED ARE JUST WHAT "I" GRINDED ON, IF YOU HAVE OTHERS, THATS GOOD)

MY OWN ADVICE
-- Repeat: MY OWN. Dont need to flame me =D
1. Max earth shield first, and perhaps u shld have around lvl 7 water and fire by the time u hit foxxwing supremes. Well for me i had lvl9 earth, lvl5water, and 9 fire or something like that.
2. Max BOTH earth skills. Some say dont need to max stone rain, but wth? Its so easy to get spririts later on. Id rather easy lvl now , and then try to farm spirits. And u can get spirits later easily once u hit 60s and start doing lotsa ZHEN grindings. Ultimately u can max all skills so just do what its needed to lvl for now.
3. For me, I didnt even add 1 point to Divine pyrogram until lvl 70 cause i feel it only helped me much in Sutra, and my pyrogram was like lvl 5 ( Why my pyro was at only lvl 5 cause its only needed to do that little hit of finishing a mob off). Instead i used more like GS>SS>GUSH>SR. Still, feel free to add the pyro family if u want advantage over metal mobs, but i prefer to suffer there abit, and excel on my grinding. Cause we will only need metal mobs for quests? And there are so few metal mobs after Lofty Pterosaur that gives really good exp. Also if i can i squad ppl when im questing. Even if u cant find a squad, ur SS and SR deals very decent damage.
4. Gush, thats obvious u HAVE to max it, its so good in PvE and PvP. Glacial Embrace, max it too. Shld be ur opening skill for most mobs (Especially Foxwing Supremes). Like i said you'de be grinding on Supremes alot, so just do a GE -> SS-> Gush-> SS. Yes you have to use 3 hard Nukes, but the exp is worth it. I got to lvl 70 in 2months 3 weeks and im working! Of course i Zhen in my 60s too but thats a whole diff story. So u shld know how helpful these foxxwings are ( Ill always remember them )
5. Please do learn apothecary. Get life/focus powder , it increases mana/hp recovery rate by 50 per sec over 10min. Saved me alot on pots. U imagine how many pots are saved when u kill over 10000000 mobs throughout ur grinding career.
6. If you can afford to buy ESO ( Exp scrolls in boutique ) Please do use them when u grind on sharks/foxwings. Ur exp will surely fly.
7. Now for ur Equipments, Ill try to explain it clearly. When you grind Foxxing Supremes (Fire), try to get your arcane robes with Single/Double resistance type, because when u have armours with fewer resistance varieties, the resistance of those particular 2 would be higher than what you would have on an armour having all the different element resistance.
Then again a counter argument comes about what if you need to do Quests which requires killing mobs of other elements? Now i'll say i always carry 2 sets of robes. 1 Set is for Specific Element Concentrated (Fewer resistance types, but HIGH resistance in the given element) (Lets call it SEC for convenience). And the other Set which has all element resistance, but average in all, is Variety Element Concentrated (VEC).
So when you grind you use ur SEC and when u quest you can swap to ur VEC. Im now assuming you have fully upgraded your inventory slots to carry 2 sets of armours ofc =). And its not expensive to get these 2sets because? when u grind or quest , you'll definitely come across these armours. Just be sure to plan what elements you will need in e future, and dont sell it when u come across it ^^. *But please note, Its only advisable to have 2 sets when you are around lvl 60 and below. Cause when u are higher level, theres a need for you to Refine/imbue your armours. Its too costly to upgrade 2 sets.
8. This is a tough one, If u can , try getting Cleric buffs in Towns near ur grind spot =) but Sanctuary's Clerics are very kind, ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE muahaha. You'll see e difference ! For e.g You might need 4 hits to kill Foxwing Supremes, but with Cleric Buff, you'll only need to deal 3 hits and this COULD mean the mob will hit u 1 less too, helps u save time, save pots and make u feel good about urself ^^. For me i have a cleric too, so it was easy.
(NOTE: *Cleric's Hp/Mp recovery Buff overwrites your life/focus powders, so for convenience sake, ask for buffs, then before u hit your mobs, use ur powder to overwrite the buff*) Powders are better!
At your level, clerics buff only last half hour, so ull only have time to get a cleric for the 1st half, unless you are lucky enough to find one half way thru ur grind.
9. Lastly, those mobs stated in the above are those i've spent my time on. Im sure somewhere inbetween there are other mobs. But i only chose Water and Fire mobs as our Sand skills and Water skills are amazing. Please do change ur mob targets if u feel there are better ones not mentioned and share them with the new people too .
And the the way i've played till now, i've nvr had grinding problems, nvr been restricted on learning any new skills later on. So just do what you have to do to lvl fast now. When you've done ur lvling fast, you can take the extra time to catch up on what you've slowed down on (E.g Quests). While others do quest at their current level, you who will be a higher lvl after grinding first, would be able to finish those quests that were given to u at lower levels easily. Hope all i've said will help you and others. Feel free to add on =D CHEERS

ZHEN GRINDING
What is Zhen ? The word 'Zhen' (Derived from chinese context "Zhen Fa") refers to skills/spells that causes damage within a magic/spell circle!!! Ever watched animes where you see magicians draw magic circles on the floor and perform magic?
Anyway in PWI context zhen grinding refers to AoE grinding. Where a squad can consist of usually up to 5 people max ! 2 pullers, 2 DDs, 1 cleric ( You seriously dont need more than this ).
2 Best Pullers - Barbarian , BM
DD - Do ur best to get 1 wiz, 1 archer ( 2 Wiz is not so good in case mob has Magic Resist )
Cleric - Self explainatory
For me, i nvr liked 2 pullers, sucks my exp. I always look for a barb that is really experienced and does not stop running. And knows the perfect timing as to when to pick the loot. In conclusion when i was lvl 62-69, i did zhen in a quad squad. @ 70> i did trios =)

1) This shows 5-man squad and their positions, if you look carefully, our archer Whitney is standing beside Muii(Healer) inside the BB. And the 2 wiz are spread out with the 2 animations touching each other. Wiz dont stand too close to each other as to let our range spread further Left-click photo to zoom in!http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/6...0711013607.png

3) As for 3-man squad ( Wiz, barb, cleric) Well , just take out the archer LOL!

Zhen Locations
At your low 60s i can suggest 2 good spots :
1) Around Sanctuary (South) (Seaweed Thief : Lvl 72)
2) NightScream Island (South Region) (Pirate Minions : Lvl 76)
At your higher 60s:
1) NightScream Island (North Region) (Chief Assassin : Lvl 80 )
At lvl 70 Onwards:
1) East of Cave of Sadistic Glee (Rocken wolves : Lvl 8X)
(Wolves can be done in trio squad, 1Puller 1cleric 1Wiz! But pls do have at least 3k hp, TT70 +3 or higher and at least lvl 6 DB)
2) Southern Part of Boundless Grasslands ( Spiders : Lvl 8X )
( Spiders hit harder than wolves, but good exp too ! Should be done in 4-man squad ! 1Puller, 1Cleric, 1Wiz, 1Archer ) <-- You can try trio if can get 3.4k HP unbuffed and +6-7 TT weap with flawless sapp )

Steps
Setting up will definitely be confusing for beginners, but i'll try my best to explain it !
To start zhen, cleric/archer/wiz has to have 2 sparks full.
1) Many times the spot u want to set up on, have mobs surrounding it. So the puller will have to run in gather all the mobs and run off to anywhere else leaving the wanted spot free.
2) Cleric then goes to the spot and turns on BB ( Blue Ball : Area heal )
3) Now comes the confusing part for beginners. Normally when archers on their zhen spell (Barrage) it automatically goes off after the targeted mob dies. But theres a way to keep it running even though target is dead, and that is through dueling. So you guys as the wizards, have to duel the archer when the cleric runs in to BB. And u arnt supposed to be a joke and try to kill off the archer >< U are supposed to get killed by the archer's barrage . Once the barrage is set, archer cant move, same as Wiz using DB.
The archer would now most likely (Should) be standing CLOSE to the cleric, because if he steals aggro u would need to be able to hit the mobs that hit him too ( Wiz's DB range if u notice is 12m RADIUS, though the animation of the dragon's breath is only 6m. Means what u can see is half of the range u can actually hit the mob at ). Im not sure about archer's barrage range but to be safe we stand close to each other with cleric in e mid.
If ur DD consist of 2 wiz, thats a diff story. Since DB is about twice the range of your animation. Both wiz can stand further apart from each other, such that the circumference of your DB's animation touches the circumference of the other DB's animation ( If you dunno what circumference is, it means the corners of the circle ) .
